Interview/Interjú
Has your favourite singer disappeared somewhere? This situation is well-known to Jack Strify’s fans.
Here is the blitz-interview with some news from his life.
-Hi, Jack! It’s been a long time since we heard some news from you. What are you doing now?
-I’m preparing and recording my new album. I’ve already picked several variants for its title. And I’m actively communicating with record-companies and accomplishing my musical material.
-You had planned to release your album or at least single by the end of the year. What was the reason that it didn’t happen?
-I don’t want to make haste with my new album and to release the material in which I’m not sure.
-What’s the inspiration for you when you write songs?
- There is inspiration everywhere! For example, Berlin inspires me a lot. But love inspires me more.
-What recent event can you point out as the most interesting one if you look back?
-All 2011 was just super! I communicated with my friends a lot, spent some time in Russia. By the way, I celebrated the New Year’s Eve and Christmas in Moscow with my friends: those were fascinating holidays! The year 2012 is good too. It’s difficult to point out one event.
-You mentioned the New Year holidays. I wonder if you had made a wish by the New Year’s Eve?
I had made a wish to spend Christmas holidays well. So, it happened this way!
I don’t like making long-time wishes.
-Have you got any favourite holidays?
-Yes, I have. It's Christmas. Everything is sparkling with celebration lights. Such a beauty!
-And what gifts do you like receiving most of all?
-All gifts from my friends and relatives! For instance, among the latest gifts there are leather boots, Vivienne Westwood bag and a coffee maker. They are beautiful and necessary things.
What trait of people’s character do you dislike most of all?
-I can’t stand lying!
What country you haven’t ever been to would you like to visit?
I haven’t ever been to Wonderland and I’m still waiting for the White Rabbit to lead me there through its whole.(Laughing)
What would you do if you didn’t become a singer?
I’d work in McDonald’s with pleasure. No, seriously: I haven’t got any special talents but I’m interested in everything.
-It’s almost a year you haven’t appeared anywhere publicly. Are you going to give any concerts or dj-sets in the nearest future?
-You can learn all about my plans from my Facebook page. Thank you for your attention to me and for your questions.
